Gracie was born to a feral mother. She and her 3 brothers (Grayson, Tiger and Pumpkin) ended up living under the hood of a car. She (without the owner knowing) took a ride all the way from Pensacola to Milton stuck inside the car. They had to use baby oil to get her out and then they thought she had taken off and they could not find her. Once back home, she came out from under the car! That's one lucky kitty! So, for three months--until they were all caught and fixed--the owner was not able to drive her car! Gracie, along with her siblings, is currently being fostered and cared for by the owner--inside, safe and sound!
Gracie loves to interact with people and play with kitty toys, like her favorite Cat Dancer toy on a stick that she can chase. Oh! And she loves those little stuffed mice! While Gracie would be okay as an only kitty and would do very well with another pet--she really loves cuddling and spending time with her kitten brother Grayson. It would be so wonderful if they could be adopted together, but it is not a requirement.
Gracie is right there at the door to greet her foster mom when she walks into the room. She loves it when you get a toy out to play with her. She has a good amount of energy but can also just lay by you and enjoy you petting her. She loves her brother Grayson, loves to play with him and cuddle with him. She also tries to nurse on him which is too cute!
Gracie has not been exposed to dogs but her foster mom believes she would be ok with a laid-back dog that wouldn't chase her. While Gracie is currently in a kitty room with her siblings, she doesn't get upset when the foster mom's other family cats look into the room when she opens the door. Gracie also loves to play with her 3-year old granddaughter, so children are ok!
If you'd like to meet Gracie or
would like to know more about her, please mention her name on your adoption application and one of our representatives would be happy to set up a good time for you to meet her.
If you are interested in adopting two kitties, would you consider adopting one of Gracie and her siblings together?
If
you work or go to school, they could keep each other company while you are away!
There's never any obligation to come say hello.
