Animal Foster Information

One Way to Help with Foster Cats

We hold adoption events where people can meet some of our adoptable cats or dogs who are looking for their forever home.

Volunteers at these events help console the animals and help them relax in the unfamiliar environment. They do that by brushing and playing with the cats and kittens, and snuggling the cats so they get more good love!

Community Fostering for Cats to be Adopted

Everett Animal Welfare Group helps people foster the cats that concern them and get their cats up to date on shots, tested negative for leukemia, and spayed/neutered if they are over 4 months old.  We do this so the fosters can then bring the cats to our adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart.

When the kitties are ready for adoption, we'll reserve a spot for you to bring the kitties to Petsmart!
